About

Jason L. Moore

Jason L. Moore was a visiting instructor in theology at Notre Dame College in Ohio before the school closed in May 2024. He currently teaches philosophy, humanities, and religious studies at Cuyahoga Community College. In addition to his teaching position, Jason is a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Jason first had the idea for starting a conversation about divine frustrations when he realized that many college students were harboring negative feelings about God, the Bible, as well as religion in general. Others were so dogmatic about their religious convictions that they appeared to be unwilling to entertain any criticisms of their faith. People on both sides of the spectrum seemed to be content in their views, not concerning themselves with exploring alternative ways of seeing the world. Then came the question, "What if they were open to such alternative perspectives"? With that consideration, Divine Frustrations was born.

The goal of Divine Frustrations resources is to encourage both believers and skeptics to take a closer look at matters of faith and doubt, while being prepared to confront views that are contrary to one's own. In so doing, they can develop more empathy for those who think differently, and thereby become more understanding of challenges to their worldviews.
